I couldn't find a better heading for this entry. How do you describe taller buildings, more shopping malls, more prostitution?
Upgrading? "Materialistaking"? Downgrading of society's moral values?
Sad la. I don't think i would like to scroll down Orchard in the near future. At least Somerset and Dhoby Ghaut more decent.
Since when do you see prostitutes around Lido?!
But then again, their target market are the expats/foreign workers. So, actually its "normal"? Just like Geylang's/Batam's more for locals? More prostitution = less rape cases?
I really don't know what to type.
If humans know that the things they are doing would cause destruction to themselves, why would they want to fasten the speed?
Do they know?
Or are they already so blinded by greed, fame, lust that they fail to recognize what is happening?
All those theories. Don't they say something? Humans are causing self-destruction. Who do they blame? Other humans. Inadequate measures to prevent this disaster. Not enough resources to lessen the impact of that disaster. What is right? What is wrong? Humans tend to have herd mentality, they believe what media or family or friends tell them to. What is the truth? Who really knows?
