Had a long chat with cols yday thru and after dinner. And the topic steers to humans being 2-faced in the office.
What is 2-faced?
Does it mean people tend to treat everyone differently, depending on how close their relationship with that person are?
In office, in personal life, aint that normal of almost everyone?
Surely, likeability can't be forced, and hence masks must be worn to maintain the harmony in a group. Isn't it so?
Peel off the mask, look beyond, and I find another person that is just like anybody else. A person who loves fun, indulges in entertainment, spends time with his/her loved ones.
Well, my idealistic kind of world is one where I know people personally beyond their mask (if it does exist), regardless of their hierarchy position.
And hopefully, I don't wear one after working for a few years. :)
